Simple: post a shot of your engine bay, and see if Oppo can guess what you drive. I'll start with my humble fleet (both of which should be pretty easy)...

M is for... Maserati? was I close!? what do I win!?

#1 is a land cruiser fo sho. Looks like an FJ80 with the 3F

Representative, not the actual articles:

suspect my car is too widely known, I'll throw a twist in the game, my other vehicles engine bay
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:21 |

Correct! ...and a brand spankin' new radiator last week. Too bad the water pump is still broken.

Dude i'm sure that's for Mazda
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:24 |

Shouldn't be too hard considering urrybody knows what I drive 'round these parts but hey w/evs
No.1
Only one I had that didn't blatantly give it away lol for no.2
Stock photo of no. 3

I thought it looked new. since there is no point people guessing what I drive, here is mine
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:26 |
|
Mercury perhaps? as a Jalop it's probably the Marauder!!
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:26 |
|
Mine is easy since it's a familiar engine.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:26 |

A W124 300D, Landrover Defender (not sure what series), and I have no idea what the last is.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:26 |
|
First one is a Benz diesel 5, right? W124 diesel maybe?
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:27 |

2004 Schwinn Mesa

Can I cheat? You'll probably run out of caring before you guess which car I drive exactly.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:28 |
|
I'll stay out of this one.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:29 |

oh he's close, 4 letter word, starts with M, not the Mesa though
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:30 |

Nice!
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:31 |

Moab then
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:31 |

That intake hose is such a dead givaway.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:32 |

Benz diesel six, actually. 300D W124, 1987.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:33 |

I'll play your game. "SC" is clearly for "SCOTT."
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:33 |

Moab?
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:35 |

I'm going to be impressed if anyone can get no. 2.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:35 |
|
Not sure of either engine bay, but the first is parked next to a mid to late 80's Firebird or Trans Am judging by the wheel and door.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:36 |
|
Series II/IIa Landie (no EGR bs), and Ford Falcon.
Actual cars here:
Interesting note: that engine bay pic is actually an Aussie XP Falcon, but it's identical in every meaningful way.

L67 narrows it down. Huge coolant tank says pre-2001. Color says not Pontiac. Buick Park Ave or Riv?
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:38 |
|
I know what the engine is, but which GM product is it driving? Riviera? Impala SS?
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:39 |
|
an easy one
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:42 |
|
Apparently I can't count. At least I got the chassis right... cool car!

*Not actual images, pulled of GIS
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:46 |

ill be impressed if anyone can get no 2 also, and the first is parked next a 91 firebird I used to own, I miss that car especially because 5 spds are rare to find
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:48 |
|
Some Buick, if it was a Pontiac the supercharged writing would be red. Maybe an SS Impala or Monte Carlo?
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:48 |
|
Here's the actual car photobombing this picture of a hideous Custom Diesel Dispatcher in the background. The other two cars are here.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 13:50 |

The answer is always Miata, isn't it?
![]() 05/13/2014 at 14:54 |
|
I'm pretty sure everyone knows what this is already.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 15:01 |
|
I wish it was a Maserati. Then I could sell it and buy numerous old BMWs.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 15:08 |
|
2nd looks like a modified GM A-Body. I want to say it's an El Camino/Sprint frame. '73 or up due to the bumper shocks.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 17:06 |
|
You know you're on Oppo when everyone ignores the M3 for the Land Cruiser.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 17:54 |
|
One of these days, you're really just going to have to post an epic photo thread of your entire collection (present and past).
![]() 05/13/2014 at 23:47 |

#2 is a GMT800 hybrid.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 23:48 |
|
Shit I didn't realize it was a hybrid one.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 23:59 |
|
I've got an '04 Sierra myself, so I recognized it right away. The orange high-voltage wires going to some weird computer give pretty much any vehicle away as being a hybrid. The belt/pulley arrangement and the power steering reservoir also look oddball to me.
![]() 05/14/2014 at 00:03 |
|
I was at school on the shitty internet so I was just lucky to pull a picture of any sort of an engine bay. But It's an '04 Silverado with the 5.3.
![]() 05/14/2014 at 09:34 |

youre right about gm but not quite on everything else, only mod is the crossmember to fit true duals
![]() 05/14/2014 at 14:31 |
|
nailed it, 97' riv it is. I didn't notice the intricacies of my own car.
![]() 05/14/2014 at 14:31 |
|
nailed it, Riviera.
![]() 05/14/2014 at 14:46 |

I have a penchant for narrowing things down based on stupid little things
![]() 05/14/2014 at 19:14 |
|
Haha. Yeah would be interesting.
![]() 05/14/2014 at 21:02 |

I know you like flying under the radar, as much as possible. And I can't blame you...
![]() 05/14/2014 at 21:29 |
|
Yeah. I just really don't want to be the guy who shows off all the time. I wish there was a PM feature so that I could send you pictures but unfortunately there isn't. Anyway, here's a taste.

Such a wicked beast of a car. Has to be my all-time favorite to listen to it howl, like @ 11:40 in the below:

Thanks it definitely was an engaging car. Yes, the sound is quite amazing.
